GENERAL DESCRIPTION
 

1. The Clinic is approximately 25 meters wide by 30 meters deep of covered air controlled work space.

2. The Clinic is 7800+ square ft in total.

3. The Clinic has 47 different rooms each having a specific function.

4. Each room (based on its function) comes with an electrical equipment package, a durable equipment package and an expendable equipment kit for both medical and non-medical requirements. (Lists will be provided during actual contract negotiations.

5. The clinic can be owned with its own primary and back-up diesel generator or just a back-up generator depending on the availability and quality of the local power access.

6. The building comes with a sectional segregated and controlled air conditioning system.

7. The clinic has its own in line water filtration system with the ability to filter 2500 gallons per day.

8. The clinic has fire fighting systemic hoses and extinguishers along with smoke alarms and emergency lighting.

9. As the Clinic is designed, the cost is approximately $2 Million for the basic package.

Final pricing can only be accomplished after answering, coordinating and awarding the sub-contacting of the following requirements.
There may also be other aspects to consider during the pre pricing negotiations.


A. What is the final design of the clinic?

B. What is the final approved medical equipment package?

C. What is the final approved non-medical equipment package?

D. Will the clinic be built by our pre-fabricated material system or local building material or a mixture of the two?

E. What equipment and/or building materials can be purchased in country?

F. Can the clinic be supported by public water, sewer and electric systems or will RF be required to solve these issues with stand alone solutions?

I. What support contracts will be purchased with the Clinic ?
 

Basically RF will need the purchaser to assist with in-country requirements and in country contracts in order to keep costs to a minimum.

1.

Waiting room – patient 50 seats ( couch type) with magazine racks, bulletin board, TV, water fountains, interior local decorating, male and female WC(3 stall each) access to pharmacy, finance, records and reception office.

2.

WC – patient – male 6 stalls, with 3 urinals, sinks, soap dishes, air blowing hand dryers

WC – patient – female 6 stalls, with diaper changing station, sinks, soap dishes, air blowing hand dryers

4.

Finance office – clinic Non-medical office kit with non-medical expendable package with safe

 

5.

Pharmacy Pharmacy office kit with non-medical and medical expendable package - with a comprehensive drug package (PURCHASED)

6.

Storage room - housekeeping Overflow housekeeping storage room for front portion of the clinic.

 

7.

Administration office – clinic Standard 2 desk administration office - used at the discretion of the clinic administrator

 

8.

Records room – clinic Standard single desk records room - used at the discretion of the clinic administrator

Reception desk – clinic Standard 3 station locally carpentered counter with non-medical administrative package

Surgery room – minor treatment Standard single station surgery treatment room with emergency cardiac crash cart set up (can also be uses as an additional examination room)

WC – staff admin male Both the male and female WC’s will be a single stall unit with standard sink, mirror and standard toiletries required in a public setting.

WC – staff admin female Segregating staff and patient WC needs is essential as well as segregating the medical from the non-medical staff. This is done to control cross contamination.

Office – clinic administration This will be a standard single non-medical office designed to function as the direct secretarial support to the clinic administrator.

14.

X-RAY imaging room A fully functional x-ray with stand-up and lay down imaging capability (PA & LAT). Medical construction standards dictate the installation of safety features.

15.

Exam room #1 Standard single table and desk doctor’s examination room with all the doctor’s basic requirements considered. All basic medical equipment and medical expendables as well as non-medical equipment and expendables included.

19.

Office – clinic administrator Upgraded furniture kit with standard non-medical equipment indicative of the stature of the clinic administrator.

Development room x-ray Standard wet development room with reading capability. Will require special handling for the medical waste requirement.

Operators station x-ray Lead lined protective wall with look through capability to insure safety measures are being taken to protect the medical staff.

WC – doctors prep

Similar to a surgical pre-operation scrub room with shower and scrub sinks. This will allow the doctors to properly wash between examining out patients and in patients (labor and delivery and ward patients.)

Staff lounge

The staff lounge is designed to give the clinic personnel a place to relax as well as being equipped with a kitchenette for meal preparation and lockers for the staff to store personal items. The lounge can also double as a meeting room when not in conflict with other functions.

Laboratory Standard 2 position blood and urine examination but can be adjusted to meet local medical requirements.

25.

Delivery room – newborn – west Standard OB-GYN delivery bed with examination kit. Room is supplied with infant incubator, ultra-sound and child birth kits along with standard examination room equipment.

26.

WC/shower – mother – west Oversize commode in the WC with sit down type shower and bath in the shower room. Room equipped as handicapped assisted requirement.

WC/shower – mother – east Oversize commode in the WC with sit down type shower and bath in the shower room. Room equipped as handicapped assisted requirement

28.

Delivery room – newborn – east Standard OB-GYN delivery bed with examination kit. Room is supplied with infant incubator, ultra-sound and child birth kits along with standard examination room equipment.

Nurses station Two station nurse’s desk with visual and sound ward monitoring capability.

Storage - housekeeping Dry paper product housekeeping storage area for clinic housekeeping requirements. As with any medical setting, new materials and current in use product must be segregated.

Kitchen – patient use Standard kitchen for in patient use. This room can be substituted if the client prefers to use the room for other purposes.

Ward – west

Three bed ward with individual curtain segregation. Standard bed with side table. Television and nursing call button and over bed feeding tray furnished. One of two wards.

Storage – nurses station Equipment, linens and patient care material storage area.

Housekeeping – primary room Utility set up with laundry, mopping and cleaning equipment. Utility shelving for in use housekeeping supplies.

41.

Closet – west ward Storage for on ward patient and nursing supplies.

42.

Shower room – west ward Standard bathtub with shower and patient changing area segregated WC included with handicap utilities.

43.

WC – west ward Single WC with handicap and patient assist features.

44.

WC – east ward Single WC with handicap and patient assist features

45.

Shower room – east ward Standard bathtub with shower and patient changing area, segregated WC included with handicap utilities

46.

Closet – east ward Storage for on ward patient and nursing supplies.

47.

Supply room – clinic Fully functional clinic supply room including lockable cage area along with cold, frozen and dry storage areas. Single desk set up with logistical hardware and software.

The design of the Clinic Plus ฎ is organized to maximize patient flow and to minimize possible cross contamination as well as allow enough space and enough support so that all the staff members including medical, surgical, administrative, housekeeping, maintenance and support personnel.
