President-Rev Felix Awotula WELCOME TO OUR SITE!
Success often hangs upon their capacity to elicit, understand, sometimes accommodate, and sometimes override the interests of the opposition.
This is a skill that calls upon both empathy and will. It must neither be paralyzed by an understanding of many interests at play nor so concentrated upon the pursuit of a vision that it fails to see the effects of change upon others. Such a balance is the task of the Rehoboth foundation. I believe a day as God designed it to be, in his original blueprint whether in heaven or on earth, is a day when no one goes hungry, no one suffers alone and the streets are filled with singing. Obviously, we are not there yet.
Honestly, I am eager to see the day when people will demonstrate true love, I am desirous to see a day when people of God will deliberately set aside conflicting agendas, discriminations by denominations, to serve the common good. I am propelled by the vision for a day when male and female, black and white, young and old will serve one another in love and mutual respect. my heart cries out for the day when all lovers of humanity will come together to form a network of compassion to embrace the poor, the marginalized, and the outcast.
I am using this medium to urge you to commit your person, position, and privileges to a group of individuals across America, Africa, and around the globe who have chosen to clothe themselves in Christ-like compassion. That’s the Rehoboth foundation.
Rehoboth foundation is a 501 © 3 non-profit making organization, which offers unconditional acceptance, sacrificial love, and selfless service to help individuals who are both chronically, disadvantaged, and are living under the poverty level. in the last 21 years, The Rehoboth Foundation has provided over 2.9 million tons of food and clothing, 2,000 turkey dinners during Thanksgiving, and over 450,000 toys to families in need. Also, with over 35,000 Back-to-School packages distributed, 2,500 teenagers have completed our Drug Awareness program. Additionally, we have also provided free auto care services to the hundreds of elderly and single parents, 900 adults have graduated from our Faith-Based Drug Rehabilitation programs. Internationally, since our inception, we have undertaken twenty-five medical missions to Africa to provide medical treatment to underprivileged individuals and families living in the rural areas of Nigeria. The organization has shipped 60 forty-foot containers of medical supplies and equipment, books, vital meals, wheelchairs, and other household items to Haiti, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone (in Africa).
Also recently shipped two full forty feet containers of relief and household materials to Venezuelan and gave Food Bank of Houston over 7,500 boxes of food items. We are currently working on our 2,500 acres of land as an industrial village for Aquaponics, Biomass technology as an alternative electric power generation, lateral blocks for affordable housing for the needy communities, and Fabrication of metal and plastic. Our poultry farm is triumphing in the Ondo state of Nigeria.
Our Foundation is firmly fixed on unwavering commitment to provide services and programs towards socio-economic empowerment and the promotion of self-esteem of individuals and families in the United States of America and Africa. these individuals include drug addicts, alcoholics, inner-city youths, the blind, the deaf, the crippled, the sick, and others with special needs.
Our mission is to be the eyes to the blind, the ears to the deaf, the limbs to the crippled, and to champion change in the lives of those with special needs so they can be useful to themselves, their community, and to society. we plan to provide educational assistance for children and students, medical assistance including equipment for the sick and empower the impoverished, counseling for youths is another vital area of concern. our programs and activities are tailored to the birthing of dreams and interests of the orphans and abandoned youths in our society.
The Foundation provides guidance and counseling for inner-city youths to develop marketable skills, which will enable them to contribute positively to society. “We believe that skills development is crucial to economic development. Our prosperity should be shared with the needy for it to be secured and effective”. Our joy is usually multiplied when it is shared with others and we believe that the best exercise for the heart is to lift others.
The Foundation’s measurable goals envision a society where the burdens of the less privileged are shared and thereby minimized. We are a body of dedicated social warriors with the vision to consolidate and challenge all efforts of genuine philanthropic individuals and groups in the United State of America and Africa. Through God, we shall be the repairers of the bridge of life and restorers of the streets of hope for an individual to dwell in with dignity.
Our transformation program (alternative sentencing) is directed towards preventing and overcoming life-controlling problems and creating the right environment for people to change, we cannot change people, only God can.
We use the resources of God, which include the word of God, the Spirit of God, and the people of God. We help people to identify the type of strongholds that can master their lives and how the problems of one person spill over to others. We examine how people become trapped with issues of life, and see the relationship between isolation and delusion.
In addition, the Rehoboth foundation is the conveyor belt between those who care and those who need the care. Therefore, “we help donors make well-articulated and tangible impacts in the lives of others”. it is obvious that our society is plagued with individuals who are wasting away due to a lack of direction, role models, and accessibility to vital information. The clarion call to our society today is to assist and to equip the needy to understand and have a life of purpose, this process will actually minimize the social cost of leaving them roaming the street aimlessly.
Through our collaboration with you, we can be the architects of the new dawn of this Godly perspective on living and serving one another. This invitation is for you to start by laying your treasures where moths and termites cannot destroy them. Please join the Rehoboth foundation to serve the lost, the sick, and the lonely wherever they may be found. Are you ready to give the world more than your word? If you are, you can start experiencing the timeless rewards of caring for others because that is the greatest expression of true love and God who is love will abundantly reward you. Do donate generously to make Rehoboth Foundation an enduring reality of burden bearer.
Our Lord Jesus left his glory in Heaven to seek us out here on earth as an example for us His followers, please join us to look for the elderly, the prisoners, the sick, the abused, and the neglected. Our purpose is to be relevant to needy people by providing the basic essential things of life especially in the less developed parts of the world like Africa. Everyone deserves to succeed and Rehoboth wants to provide the launchpad for well-being and success for as many as are needy in our world today. Then can we truly live in peace and enjoy the resources God has provided for us.
WE CARE, WE SERVE- The greatest worth of any man, is the good he does for others!!!
